“…but clouds got in my way” – Nov 26, 2012
Another morning of light fog on the lake, and here is proof positive that clouds can sometimes block even the brightest of us. But, despite their density, we still shine, and given time we rise above, and our brilliance is blinding.
Remember, Joni Mitchell, that no matter how we look at clouds it’s how we handle them that counts. Never obstacles, but opportunities. They are like fine sculpting tools, smoothing out our rough edges and adding the fine detail we might otherwise have missed. A little drama, a little mystery, a touch of heartache – but oh, what a masterpiece in the end.
And what an intriguing sight to start the day with on the lake.
