I’m beginning to feel like one of the gang here by the marina. I should. I’ve been coming just about every day for more than four months, and sometimes twice a day. I’m more of a regular than the regulars. I show up even when they don’t. I wonder if they recognize me? Not as a person, of course, but as another creature they share space with.
I enjoy wandering the shoreline to see what treat nature has in store for me today. It’s a rare day, and usually windy one, that I don’t find someone foraging the waters. I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot when I discover several different birds, or a new one.
