A newly emerged Monarch clings to its chrysalis anchored to a lemon tree leaf. It will hang for a few hours waiting for its wings to dry and stiffen before beginning its maiden flight.
It’s exciting to be starting anew. I’ve longed for a similar opportunity on many occasions. “Redo. Redo,” I shout. “I can do better.” And then I think, “I’m going to have to change.” But the question is when?
Unlike the butterfly here, we don’t have to hang around waiting, or go through some magical transformation process. We need only to decide to change, and then do it–today, this minute, right now.
