Rising sun and light fog merge to cast a golden hue on the morning, as a seagull takes early flight.
Every morning is golden, with or without the sun and fog’s help. It is a special moment in each day that won’t come again, a time to express our gratitude for what is, and to set our intentions for what will be. It’s easy to squander this precious time, though, getting caught up in the rush to begin our day.
So before the coffee, before the shower, before the frantic dash out the door, pause and honor the morning. It can be with a moment of gratitude, a brief meditation, or even a gentle stretch routine – whatever will bring the richness of the morning into your day.
And then, like our seagull friend, fly off.
