For too long the sun has been little more than a rumor – a thing of ancient folklore and legend…all right I am exaggerating. Today, though, was the first time in the new year (11 days) that I have been able to snap a photo of a sunrise – and oh, what a beauty it was. Orange, yellows and grays stretching across the brightening sky, filling the lake with soft, muted colors.
Gray skies are good lessons to remind us of the things we take for granted. Let’s remember to pause and express our deep gratitude for the simple things in our lives. These are gifts.
