Happy Birthday, Elvis – Jan 08, 2013
Elvis rocked the world. Born 78 years ago today, he was the pride and joy of Memphis, the town where I grew up. If it had been possible, I promise you the city fathers would have renamed the town for the rock star. He was that beloved – simple, and unassuming on the outside, a bundle of talent on the inside.
You may think our little guy here is just a common house sparrow, but for all we know he may be the budding Elvis of the avian world. Everyone deserves a chance to be all they are. Never assume, and never underestimate.
