A Year on Clear Lake-Feb 11, 2013

Simple Complexity – February 11, 2013

Nature is beautiful in its simple complexity. Look at the many textures and colors involved here – lacy blue spikes, smooth, round, orange tinged leaves, thorny branches, red flowers, ruffly leaves, purple clusters. All on a muted backdrop of misty gray.

The canvas is ever changing. Today’s gray backdrop will be replaced with a sky blue horizon; blue spikes will wilt and fall; orange leaves turn to brown and drop.

Very clever of nature. You can never tire of looking at the same thing, because the same thing never exist – only with our limited sight. Look with new eyes everyday, and you will never be disappointed.
